Overview
This instrument detects the beginning and end of precipitation. It can be used report the presence of precipitation or to control rain protection devices such as awnings or windows.
The precipitation is detected optically within a 25cms2 area. There are user configurable settings for the start of precipitation and the off delay. A single changeover relay provides the output.
Integrated heating avoids problems with snow or freezing.
