Overview
An electrical earthing (grounding) kit for use with all BTD series thunderstorm warning sensors. The earthing spike is driven into the ground next to the sensor and connected to the earthing point on the BTD. Supplied with 5m of connection cable.
Technical Description
Grounding of BTD Thunderstorm Warning sensors is essential for correct sensor operation and protection of the sensor against electrical transients and surges caused by lightning. The kit consists of a 2.4m (94”) ground spike supplied in two sections, 5m (197”) of earth cable complete with ring terminal, and a cable clamp.
The earthing kit can also be used with Biral SWS and VPF visibility and present weather sensors.
