Cost effective wind speed sensors

The small range of wind speed sensors measure the horizontal wind speed using a Reed-contact which is activated by the revolution of the cup-star. They offer the best price / performance-ratio for basic requirements and include 20 m cable. Applications include small building control systems and hobby uses. The wind speed data can be output to a digital display.

What it does

The Small series wind speed sensor has 3 rotating cups that move around a bearing system providing a set amount of rotations for each wind speed. The amount of rotations and therefore the wind speed values are converted to either a proportional mA DC signal output or the amount of rotations are directly proportional to wind speed and output as a Hz signal. This allows the sensors to be integrated into typical cost effective monitoring systems.
