Protective case for the Temperature or Hygro-Thermo Transmitter when installed outside. This case essentially eliminates the influence of weather and radiation errors which can affect the measurement result.

Weather and Thermal Radiation Shield

The Weather and Thermal Radiation Shield protects the Compact Temperature Sensor from environmental influences and minimises the possibility of radiation and precipitation adversly influencing the data.

There are 2 versions of the shield, one without ventilation (model 1.1025.55.000) and the other with ventilation (model 1.1025.55.100). The model with ventilation reduces errors which might occur during measurements in a weather hut caused by the so-called "proper climate“.

NB It is recommendable to use the ventilated weather and thermal radiation shield with ventilation the 4-20 mA version of the Compact Temperature Sensor.


Description

The Weather and Thermal Radiation Shield consists of white UV-proof lamella which exhibits very good reflective properties and ventilation.

The Temperature Sensor is put into the Weather and Thermal Radiation Shield from below and is mounted by means of a clamping screw.
