The Wind Research range of 3-axis ultrasonic anemometers are very fast response all-round wind
and turbulence sensors providing accurate
measurements of horizontal and vertical wind speed and direction.
They offer a higher sampling rate than the Professional range. The entry level Wind Research 100 model has a sampling rate of up to 50 Hz and has an internal memory for data storage (around 12000 standard data sets) and a battery buffered clock. It has no moving parts, is maintenance free and comes with a field calibration kit for user confidence checks. It is suitable for applications such as airport site evaluation, forestry monitoring, industrial ventilation, atmospheric research and wind tunnels etc.
