The METEO comp system is a cost effective, ready to use,
wind speed, wind direction and external temperature system with digital LED display and 20
m of cable The digital LED display is
suitable for wall mounting indoors.
The data can be output from the display to other
equipment such as a PC via a serial interface. Meteo-Online WINDOWS software is also
available to view the data graphically.
The system is comprised of:
- Outdoor component: a combined wind speed and direction
sensor model 4.3329.00.000 for the acquisition of the wind speed and direction as well as
ambient temperature with 20 m cable to run between the sensor and display.
The temperature sensor is located in the mounting arm for the wind speed indicator.
- Indoor component: a digital LED wind speed and
direction display 9.3229.00.000 with power supply unit and "plug and play"
connector to the display.

What it does
The METEO Comp system
provides he following information:
- wind velocity in m/s, km/h or Beaufort
temperature in °C, °F or wind chill
temperature
displays the min.-max. values of all the
measurement units occurring within the preceding 24 hours

output
The
data can be viewed in the following ways:
- directly on the LED display
- on a PC as an ASCII string*
- on a PC using the METEO online graphical
software which is optional
*Example of ASCII string whereby column 1 is windspeed,
column 2 wind direction and column 3 is temperature:
