There are five rain gauges in this range as follows:

  • Eigenbrodt Ultrasonic rain gauge
  • Thies mechanical precipitation recorder 5.4011.xx.0xx
  • Thies Precipitation Transmitter model 5.4032.35.00x
  • Thies Precipitation Transmitter model 5.4031.xx.010
  • Thies precipitation sensor 5.41032.2

Thies precipitation sensor 5.41032.2

Model 5.41032.2 precipitation sensor determines the instantaneous precipitation intensity and the output can be used for control and warning signals. It includes a mast holder, which can be used for wall mounting, if required.

The precipitation is detected opto-electronically via a measuring area of approx. 25 cm2 and integrated heating avoids snow covering or freezing the instrument during winter operation.

The measuring signal is output as an intensity-dependent analog value.
