HSSView Software

HSSView software for use with the digital HSS visibility and present weather sensors (models VPF-710 and VPF-730)

The HSSView software allows communication between a PC
(running Windows XP) and the sensor via an RS232 connection.

HSSView software has a graphical user interface with a logging function of the simple data string (tabular format) including a date / time stamp directly to folders on the hard drive in periods that can be user defined.

There are different viewing capabilities with extended data, compressed data, parameters, self test data and visibility graphs plus precipitation and precipitation type graphs for the VPF-730 present weather sensor.

You can also set alarms for over / under MOR (Meteorological Optical Range) thresholds should this be of interest for your application.

You can:

• view the raw data
• display data in graphical form
• control the sensor / send commands
• log data

Please note that we cannot guarantee support for this beta version but will try to assist where possible and would value customer feedback so that we can continually improve the software and increase ease of use for our customers.
