VISIBILITY AND PRESENT WEATHER
Biral manufactures the well known, high specification, HSS range of visibility sensors, which have been used worldwide for over 20 years. Our product range now also includes the economical SWS present weather sensors which were first introduced to the market in 2009.
WIND PROFILERS
We distribute Metek SODARs for 3-dimensional profiling of the wind in the boundary layer. These SODARs are very well designed with great attention to detail and are supplied with a comprehensive set of tools.
PRECIPITATION SENSORS
We distribute a wide range of precipitation sensors including Metek's vertical rain profiler (the Micro Rain Radar), Eigenbrodt's automatic precipitation collectors and Thies Clima's range of manual collectors, disdrometers, rain prescence sensors and tipping bucket rain gauges.
WIND SPEED AND WIND DIRECTION
We sell a wide range of ultrasonic anemometers and mechanical cup and vane senors manfactured by Metek and Thies Clima.
The mechanical wind speed and direction sensors include the:
- First Class range for wind farms
- Classic range for marine and airports
- Compact range for industrial use
- Small range for general use and hobbyists.
The range of ultrasonic anemometers includes Metek's 3-axis anemometers which can be customised to suit your application requirements. Alternatively you can select from the standard ranges of Metek and Thies Clima ultrasonic anemometers.
