Weather Sensor from Biral
sets new standards.
We have added a Laser Precipitation Monitor to our range of
sensors for meteorological applications.
This new present weather sensor measures
liquid, freezing or frozen particles at a competitive price, whilst maintaining the high
quality performance expected from more expensive models.
The Laser Precipitation Monitor, manufactured by Thies Clima, uses a
thin ribbon of transmitted light to detect any particles passing through the sample volume
and can measure particles down to 0.16mm diameter. The sensor can be interfaced using a
RS-485 data link, weighs less than 10 pounds and is available in low power DC versions as
well as mains powered. Heaters provide year round error free operation and the sensor can
be mast mounted very easily.
Further information on the Thies Clima Precipitation Monitor is
